More about me
As a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, I help women navigate weight changes during perimenopause and menopause through personalized, sustainable nutrition strategies. My approach takes into account your individual needs, food preferences, and lifestyle to create practical recommendations you can maintain long term.
I guide women in understanding what, when, and how much to eat to support healthy weight management, metabolic health, and overall well-being, without extreme diets or rigid rules.
I have a background in nutritional therapy and more than 10 years of experience working in a hospital as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. I bring both perspectives to my work, helping women make practical, informed choices about nutrition and weight management. I offer virtual nutritional therapy services throughout the U.S. and internationally.
Nutritional Therapy
What Is Nutritional Therapy?
Nutritional therapy takes an individualized approach to food and lifestyle habits to support overall health and well-being. It considers your eating patterns, food preferences, daily routine, and personal goals to develop practical recommendations that fit your life.
During perimenopause and menopause, changes in body composition, appetite, sleep, and energy can make weight management more challenging. Nutrition and lifestyle habits can play an important role in supporting healthy weight management, adequate nourishment, and long-term well-being.
My goal is to help you understand how to build balanced meals, develop consistent eating habits, and make realistic changes you can maintain over time. Nutritional therapy can be part of a comprehensive approach to health, alongside appropriate medical care when needed.
WHAT I OFFER
One-on-One Nutritional Therapy
My one-on-one sessions are designed around your individual needs, food preferences, daily routine, and health goals. We look at your current eating habits and identify practical changes that fit your life, using affordable whole foods rather than restrictive diets or exhausting workout routines.
I specialize in helping women navigate weight changes during perimenopause and menopause, including women living with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. Together, we establish realistic weight-management goals and develop a personalized nutrition plan based on your eating patterns, activity level, and estimated energy needs. I guide you in understanding what, when, and how much to eat to support adequate nourishment, metabolic health, and sustainable progress.
Our work focuses on building consistent habits you can maintain over time, with attention to balanced meals, everyday movement, energy, and overall well-being.
Online Course
Hashimoto’s & Weight Management: A Whole-Body Approach
This online course is for women going through perimenopause or menopause who have Hashimoto’s thyroiditis and want to manage their weight without restrictive diets or exhausting workout routines.
You’ll learn how everyday choices around food, meal timing, sleep, movement, and stress can fit together to support your weight-management goals. The focus is on practical changes that work with your daily life, rather than trying to follow a perfect plan.
Throughout the course, you will learn how to:
Choose what to eat by putting together balanced meals with a variety of nourishing foods.
Plan when to eat by developing a meal routine that fits your schedule and helps you feel satisfied throughout the day.
Decide how much to eat by learning how to adjust portions to your needs, activity level, and weight-management goals.
Improve your sleep habits by making small changes to your evening routine and daily habits that may help you rest better and feel more energized.
Find the right approach to movement by exploring realistic ways to stay active, build strength, and maintain muscle without overdoing it.
Take care of your mental and emotional well-being by finding simple ways to manage stress and make healthy habits easier to maintain.
Instead of jumping from one diet to another or guessing what might work, you’ll have a clear framework to guide your food and lifestyle choices. The goal is to help you make changes you can realistically continue, while working toward a healthier weight and feeling better in your everyday life.
